Mariah Carey All Smiles As Ex-Fiance James Packer Suffers Mental Breakdown

Mariah Carey's former fiancé James Packer has suffered a mental breakdown.

The 50-year-old billionaire entered a $35,000 US psychiatric hospital to deal with his issues.

Meanwhile, Mariah was photographed looking happy with her former husband Nick Cannon and their twins Monroe and Moroccan on Saturday.

The family attended Nickelodeon's 2018 Kids' Choice Awards at The Forum in Inglewood.

Packer and Carey had a very public romance which resulted in them getting engaged and ultimately cost him an estimated $10 million after their relationship crashed.

Now, unlucky-in-love Packer will spend two weeks at Boston's McLean Hospital's The Pavilion as he tries to regain his mental heath.

The hulking casino mogul was photographed looking sad at the facility and was visited by his mother Roslyn Packer.

Her son, who is one of the wealthiest men in Australia, as has allegedly made multiple attempts to reconcile with his second wife Erica Baxter in recent months.

The couple share three children together and remain on good terms.

He married his first wife Jodhi Meares in 1999 and the couple separated in 2002.

Packer made his mental health struggle public upon deciding to step down as director of his beloved casino business.

"Mr Packer is suffering from mental health issues. At this time he intends to step back from all commitments," his private ­investment vehicle CPH said in a statement.
