Mama June Shannon is fighting the battle of the bulge again just over a year after she lost an incredible 300 pounds. On Friday night's episode of her reality TV show From Not to Hot, she struggled to get into a size eight dress!
“It’s mentally and physically exhausting for me,” she confessed of the health battle in a video interview with Radar. “I’ve been kind of beating myself up, kind of situation.” Mama June, 38, is now completely blind in her right eye, and steadily losing vision in her left as she wrestles with trying to stay thin.
The TV star has confided that she slipped back into "old habits," such as ordering delivery in the aftermath of her initial stunning weight loss that stunned America.
As detailed on season one of From Not To Hot, Mama June underwent weight loss surgery to lose the 300 pounds.
On a season two episode last night, June was shown trying to squeeze into a beauty pageant gown after promising her daughter, Alana "Honey Boo Boo," that she would compete.
But she couldn't get the dress on! "I need Country Crock, some margarine and a crane to fit my fat a** in this dress," Mama June sighed to the cameras. She requested Spanx and help from sister Doe Doe to get the garment on.
"I need you to hold my a** and help me in this dress. Like, push my a** in and pull this dress up!" she said. June claimed the tailors of the dress had made it smaller by cutting off a few inches—or that it had mysteriously shrunk!
But Doe Doe replied, "Shrunk? That’s what we’re going with? It has nothing to do with the fact that your heiney has gotten a little bigger?"
Doe Doe realized Mama June needed a bigger size, saying, "An 8?! You need like, a 12. 'What happened?! You were in a 4! You’ve got to lay off the fat cakes." As Radar has reported, the WE star shocked fans in March 2017 by flaunting her size 4 size figure in a red dress on the Hot season one finale.
June got a second season of her show but now, she's putting the weight back on!
