Love After Lockup or another scam?

In an exclusive sneak peek from the hit show, Angela feared that her hunky convict fiancé could be pulling a con on her from behind bars.

Tony, 13 years her junior, served a three-year sentence for possession of a firearm, but upon his release he was ready to begin a new life with Angela.

She described their unconventional meeting.

“I picked Tony off a pen pal website, he’s very handsome and sexy. He used to be an MMA fighter.”

She explained the progression of their relationship was not exactly an honest one. “We conversated through letters and emails and phone,” she said, and admitted the picture she sent him was doctored.

“My sister and I had done some photo editing. It was a great picture. I guess that picture sucked him in.”

Would Tony end their engagement once he met her in real life? Love After Lockup airs on WEtv Fridays at 10pm.
