Lorenzo Lamas Loses Legal Custody Of Daughter To Ex Shauna Sand
RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that Lorenzo Lamas recently lost custody of his teenage daughter to his ex-wife, Shauna Sand.
On Dec. 1, the Superior Court of the State of California ruled Sands, whose six-year marriage with Lamas ended in 2002, “shall have sole legal custody” of their daughter, Isabella Lorenza Lamas, 16.
As a result, Sand, 46, “shall have the right and responsibility to make decisions relating to the health, education and welfare” of the teen.
According to the order, Lamas, 59, lost custody of Isabella since he lives in New York State while she resides in California with her mother.
Despite the former soap star not having primary custody, he will still be allowed “reasonable visitation” with Isabella, which will be determined by the teen, Lamas and Sand.
The debt-ridden dad was also ordered by the court to give Sands $1,500 a month for child support payments and to continue paying $700 monthly for child support that was in arrears.
Lamas and Sand have two other daughters together — Victoria, 18, and 20-year-old Alexandra.
