Kourtney & Scott Admit They Went To Therapy After He Started Dating Sofia

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick just dropped a bombshell about their relationship, hours after a Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode divulged details about their awkward Bali trip.

Following news that a renowned healer told them they’re “soulmates,” the parents of three sat down to talk about their co-parenting struggles on Poosh.

Kourtney, 40, started off by saying momager Kris Jenner told he how proud she was of her for agreed to go to Finland with ex Scott, 35, and his girlfriend, Sofia Richie.

“People either look at us like we’re crazy or…” she told Scott before drifting off.

“I’d rather people look at us like we’re crazy and we get to spend time together and raise our family together than doing it the other direction,” he said, referring to their close relationship post-split.

The two called it quits in 2015 after nearly a decade together, but have continued to share custody of kids Mason, Penelope and Reign.

“It’s not the easiest thing for us but the fact that we’ve tried and we made it work, makes life that much better,” he continued. “I mean I couldn’t imagine raising three children with somebody that I couldn’t speak to every day.”

“Yeah, that to me seems way harder,” said Kourtney. “I do think we’re very lucky.” readers know Kourtney has made an effort to bond with Sofia, 20, over the past few months, and has even been spotted on dinner dates and family getaways with her and Scott. Though the Kar-Jenners were not very welcoming of the model when she first began seeing Scott, they all seem to have warmed up to her.

During her talk with Scott, Kourtney said the fact that they can raise their kids together and make family decisions together despite their breakup: “There’s no better… like what else could you want?”

“Yeah I feel like we’re just raising our kids like we would’ve raised them, whether we were together or not,” said Scott.

The two then revealed their toughest co-parenting experiences.

“I think the hardest part was when we both started new relationships,” Kourtney told Scott. “Because that caused fights between you and I about introducing the kids.”

“You’re right. It’s hard,” said Scott. readers know that after their split, Kourtney began dating male model Younes Bendjima, and Scott partied with and smooched multiple women before settling down with Sofia.

“I think that caused the most challenges,” said Kourtney.

“Yeah, it’s one of those things you don’t think is ever gonna happen. But like everything in the world, things move,” said Scott.

“We had to literally go to therapy to talk,” recalled Kourtney.

“Yeah that was a big one,” said Scott.

The former party-boy then revealed that for him, the hardest part has been knowing where he stands with Kourtney.

“I think the biggest challenge was just trying to figure out how we separate you know, our relationship as friends and parents, and still be on the same page, and what’s, I guess, appropriate and what’s not. And when to be able to talk to each other,” said Scott.

“Boundaries?” asked Kourtney.

“Yeah, I mean in the beginning I think you set good ones and then we learned from that. And we’ve gotten to a good place,” he said.

“I think we are very, very, very lucky how we have everything,” Scott continued. “I live for the kids so whatever works and makes it easier is what I’m into.” readers know that last October, Scott and Kourtney jetted off to Bali with the KUWTK star’s family. There, a healer told them they’re “old souls” and “soulmates,” and said they had to decide whether or not to end this life together.

After a very tense conversation, Kourtney and Scott agreed they are, in fact, soulmates because they love each other and will live the rest of their days as a family with their kids. They decided, however, to remain apart — at least for now.

After learning about their reading, Khloe Kardashian told Scott she was concerned about Sofia’s reaction.

“If I was Sofia, I would be so insecure,” she told him. “I don’t care how confident you are. It’s weird if you’re Sofia.”

“I definitely don’t want to disrespect my relationship with Sofia because it means a lot to me,” Scott said. “Whether Kourtney and I are soulmates or not, I feel like I owe a lot to Kourtney for the times that I missed when I wasn’t the best partner to her. So I feel like I will forever be making up for that lost time for the rest of her life.”
