Explosive Video Inside Kardashian Heist Hotel May Have 'Significant' Impact On Defamation Lawsuit

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

After the blog Media Takeout claimed she staged her own robbery, a furious Kim Kardashian reportedly filed a lawsuit vehemently denying the accusations.

Beverly Hills defense attorney Adam Michael Sacks tells RadarOnline.com that the shocking tape could have a "significant" impact on a potential court case — in the blog's favor.

"In the video, you can see there are no marks on Kim's face or wrists. If she was gagged and bound, she would have bruising. She also appears very calm," Sacks says. "The door is undamaged, and the apartment seems to be in order."

"The tape could help Media Takeout's case."

The video, in addition to court precedents requiring malice in a lawsuit like Kim's, places the website in a strong position, he said.

"I would say they have very little to worry about," Sacks charged.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the 35-year-old mother of two claimed she was held hostage as armed thieves robbed her Paris home of nearly $10 million in jewels.

But RadarOnline.com's new video brings up major questions in the reality star's story.

For instance, why does Kim seem so calm just moments after she was allegedly tied up and tossed into a bathtub? And why does the luxury home appear undisturbed?

For their part, Kim's reps told RadarOnline.com that the video is not an accurate representation of her state of mind as it was taken up to five hours after she was held at gunpoint. RadarOnline.com has been unable to verify that claim.

UPDATE:

“The video accompanying this article has been removed because of a legal threat from Kim Kardashian, and the article revised accordingly. We do not believe, however, that either the video or the article accuse Ms. Kardashian of “faking” the Paris robbery, as her attorneys have claimed, and which we did not intend. Rather, they raise legitimate questions about the events at issue, questions which many media outlets and many other people have also raised. We apologize to Ms. Kardashian for any implication otherwise.”
