Kim Cattrall Slams Sarah Jessica After Ex Co-Star Reaches Out About Dead Brother

Kim Cattrall has launched a shocking attack on her former Sex and the City co-star Sarah Jessica Parker. Parker had expressed sympathy for Cattrall several times after Cattrall's brother died. But on Saturday morning, Feb. 10, Cattrall showed her hatred for SJP, writing on Instagram in a big photo message, "I don't need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker."

She went even further in the photo caption at the side, revealing, "My Mom asked me today “When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?" Cattrall, 61, who played Samantha on SATC, continued, addressing herself to Parker, 52, "Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona."

The actress also linked to a story from the New York Post about the "mean girls culture that destroyed sex and the city."

As the Daily Mail previously reported, sources blamed Cattrall, who played Carrie Bradshaw, and her "demands" for killing the proposed third Sex and the City movie. Parker didn't point any fingers but said she was "disappointed" as there was a great script ready to go for another big screen version of the hit HBO show. But Cattrall tweeted, " The only DEMAND I ever made was that I didn’t want to do a 3rd film….& that was back in 2016."

Now, her feud with Parker has exploded after Cattrall's brother was found dead just days ago.

On Feb. 4, Cattrall announced via Twitter that her brother, Christopher, had disappeared in Alberta, Canada--and begged fans for help in finding him. Tragically, Christopher was found deceased several hours later.  Parker then commented on Cattrall's Instagram post announcing his death, "Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx.”

As Us Weekly reported, Parker also expressed her sadness over her former co-star's loss via an Entertainment Tonight interview, commenting on Feb. 8, "If somebody in your life, whether you’re in touch with them or not, is suffering for any reason, it’s involuntary that you want to convey condolences or sadness or just let someone know you’re thinking about them."

SJP also told Extra, "I can’t begin to know how her family is managing such a loss. We all send her our love and condolences and grant her the privacy that she’s asked for."
