Kathy Griffin is back in with the White House.
The controversial comic made a surprise White House Correspondents dinner appearance nearly a year after she was investigated for posting a photo of President Donald Trump's decapitated head.
Griffin, 57, turned up to the prestigious Beltway event wearing a racy yet elegant black vintage gown where she was greeted with bemused smiles.
Initially, the controversial comic apologized for the disturbing photograph.
However, she retracted her apology after suffering a torrent of criticism from various quarters after her stunt backfired.
In November 2017, Griffin told the Associated Press that Trump had executives place her on a 'Hollywood blacklist'
But she seemed to have put the scandal behind her when she arrived at the lavish event this weekend.
She wrote on Twitter: "I'm having the time of my life at the White House Correspondents Dinner!"
The comic posed on the red carpet with Washington, D.C., Bureau Chief for American Urban Radio Networks April Ryan.
