Kate Spade’s Tragic Suicide: Friends Worry About David Spade After Shocking Death
Kate Spade’s heartbreaking suicide sent shockwaves throughout the world, and some now fear for her brother-in-law, actor David Spade, the younger brother of Kate's husband, Andy.
“David’s friends are really worried about him right now," a source close to the 53-year-old star exclusively told RadarOnline.com. "They want to make sure that he is okay while dealing with this horrible tragedy.”
“This could be something that really could bring David down,” added the source.
The fashion maven, 55, was found just after 10 a.m. on June 5 hanging with a scarf around her neck in the family's New York City home.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Kate left behind a note for her husband, Andy, 55, and their 13-year-old girl, Frances, who was at school when her mom took her own life.
“She didn’t say why she did it,” a police source said of Kate's final message.
However, she reportedly told her daughter not to blame herself for the suicide.
