'So Pretty': Kate Spade's Grieving Brother-In-Law David Shares Photos Of Designer
Kate Spade's shocking suicide took the fashion world by a storm this gloomy Tuesday morning. While her immediately family has remained silent ever since the unexpected tragedy, her beloved brother-in-law, David Spade, has finally spoken out.
"Fuzzy picture but i love it. Kate and I during Christmas family photos," David captioned a sweet Instagram photo of him and Kate, 55, laughing in matching black attires. "We had so much fun that day. She was so sharp and quick on her feet. She could make me laugh so hard. I still cant believe it. Its a rough world out there people, try to hang on."
The Grown Ups actor—whose brother is Kate's widowed husband Andy Spade—also took to Twitter to share a charming snap of the late designer.
"Katy at my book signing. I love this pic of her. So pretty. I dont think everyone knew how f***ing funny she was... Its a rough world out there people. Try to hang on," David, 53, captioned the image of Kate laughing at him as he signed books.

"David's friends are really worried about him right now," an insider said. "They want to make sure that he is okay while dealing with this horrible tragedy."
"This could be something that really could bring David down," added the source.

Her estranged sister, Reta Saffo, 57, spoke to reporters after the fashion icon's sad death, claiming her suicide "was not unexpected" in her eyes, because Kate had begun self-medicating while drinking on her final days.
