Kanye West's Nightmare: Inside His Father's Secret Stomach Cancer Horror

Ten years after Kanye West’s beloved mother Donda died , the rapper is now reeling over news that his father, Ray West, is suffering from a devastating illness that could take his life, a family member exclusively confirmed to RadarOnline.com.

“His dad is sick with stomach cancer,” revealed his one-time stepmother Cheryl Carmichael West, adding Ray was diagnosed last spring.

“He’s getting treatment and from what I understand the treatments are working.”

The coroner’s report ruled the 58-year-old died of “coronary artery disease and multiple post-operative factors due to or as a consequence of liposuction and mammoplasty.”

Kanye, who shared a special bond with his devoted mother, has struggled ever since to get over her sudden death.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Kanye went on to suffer a mental breakdown in 2016 that many believe was a direct result of Donda’s shocking passing.

More recently, two weeks after the anniversary of his late mom’s birthday, the troubled artist was hospitalized for a flu-like illness.

“Sometimes you need other events to trigger bigger events,” Cheryl said of his recent hospitalization.

“It could have triggered something bigger in Kanye because he is super close to his dad after his mom’s death.”

Cheryl offered some insight into how the 41-yer-old may be handling both his mom’s death and what could be the same untimely fate for his father.

“Kanye was very close to his mother,” continued Cheryl. “One of the things that I recall is that that he never really grieved his mother and went back to work right away."

After suffering an emotional breakdown, her ex-stepson was admitted to the hospital in 2016 for psychiatric evaluation and treatment that was said to be related to the stress of his world tour and wife Kim Kardashian’s robbery in Paris.
