Julie Chen ‘Taking A Few Days Off’ After Her Husband’s Sex Scandal Explodes

Julie Chen is struggling from the fallout following multiple allegations her husband Les Moonves was responsible for sexual misconduct — including claims of “forcible touching or kissing during business meetings” — while performing his duties as head of CBS.
Chen, 48, issued a statement on Monday saying she wouldn’t be appearing on her popular daytime chat fest.
"I am taking a few days off from The Talk to be with my family,” she noted. “I will be back soon and will see you Thursday night on Big Brother.”
As RadarOnline.com reported, CBS just announced they are parting ways with 68-year-old Moonves after 15 years.
The network also promised to donate $20 million to “one or more organizations that support the #MeToo movement and equality for women in the workplace.”
Though she tried to defend her husband when the scandal first broke, Chen is now nervous her career may also be in jeopardy after the dust settles.
“She is in the same position as Harvey Weinstein’s fashion designer wife: After he went down, no one wanted to wear her clothes,” an insider previously told RadarOnline.com.
“Julie is talented, but her career is so tied to Les’ that if he gets fired, she’s in big trouble, too.”
