Eat Stay Love! Julia Roberts Taking Time Off To Save Crumbling Marriage

Julia Roberts is cutting back on her grueling work hours, in a bid to give herself some much-needed relaxation and family time, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

“She wants to be with her kids more, plus Danny (Moder) of course, as everyone knows they’ve needed to spend more time together,” an insider told RadarOnline.com.

Roberts recently announced her television debut, signing up for Amazon’s new series Homecoming. The fact that the 10-episode series will be filmed at Universal Studios’ newly constructed production facilities in Los Angeles was a major selling point.

“She signed on to the Homecoming project not only asking for family-friendly hours, but that the location shooting take place no more than an hour from her house in L.A.” the insider added.

Roberts, 50, may be one of Hollywood’s biggest actresses, but she still strives to be a normal working mom, who likes to be home to make dinner for her family.

“Even though she works a lot, Julia considers herself a full-time wife and mom and that is her main job,” the insider added. “She’s working on her marriage and her kids still need a ton of attention, and the show is working around that.”
