Shameless! Jessa Duggar & Ben Selling Land For Over $200K Despite Buying It For $1

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald are selling their land – and they’re hoping to make a profit of over $200,000! RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusive details on the Counting On couple’s money-making scheme.

In a warranty deed obtained from Washington Count Circuit Court in Arkansas, Grantor Mary Duggar sold the land to her granddaughter Jessa, 25, and grandson-in-law Ben, 22, for $1 on June 27, 2017.

The property purchase price for the home was $100,000 with a $330 tax amount at the time.

Now, the TLC stars are selling the .46 acres of land for a whopping $200,376.

A realtor for Salmonsen Group exclusively told RadarOnline.com, “The listing is for land only. It does not include the house.”

Duggar Family News: Life is Not All Pickles and Hairspray Facebook group was the first to report on the story.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Jessa and Ben, who are parents to Spurgeon, 2, and Henry, 1, live only feet away from the dangerous Interstate 49 highway.

“Perfect for a new business to catch traffic from all directions,” the description on Zillow reads. “With approx. 200 of I-49 frontage, you will be seen.”

On February 10, 5 News reported a multi-car crash on North Interstate 49 in Washington County, where the home is located, left one dead. Only trees separate the home from the crash-heavy highway.

Jessa and Ben are the latest Duggars to be involved in a financial scandal.

Jessa's older sister Jill Duggar’s husband Derick Dillard has a reputation for being desperate for cash.

In 2015, they asked for up to $100 per month to fund their first international “mission effort.” But they didn’t give fans details on what the donations would go towards.

“I would never donate to a charity that doesn’t let me know exactly where and how my money will be used,” one user said, as another wrote, “I would like to know exactly what they do over there, is it really just preaching? They are not helping to better the life of people they see?”

Then in August 2017, when they announced they are discontinuing Dillard Family Ministries, Dillard turned to Pure Charity to ask for a one-time goal of $6,500. Dillard raised $125 before the fundraiser was shut down.
