As she approaches her 50th birthday, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively Jennifer Lopez is looking to slow things down and become a stay-at-home partner to lover Alex Rodriguez.

"While Jennifer and Alex insist they’re not furiously planning to run off and get married,  they absolutely already are acting like each other's spouses,” an insider told Radar. “And Jennifer wants to be the traditional partner that Alex needs during this time in their life.”

That means putting some of her own projects on hold, especially when it comes to the TV commitments that take up tons of her time and keep her based in LA, which has never been a good fit with Alex's jet-set lifestyle and social circle in New York.

It also means spending more time with her baseball analyst boyfriend in the big apple.

“Jennifer says she would rather live on the East Coast full time but that is going to have to wait until her kids are a little bit older,” the insider added.

In the meantime, the two have decided to share one home back east, splurging on a luxury Manhattan love nest, and a source tells Radar exclusively the two could walk the aisle as early as next spring!

“As far as being there for Alex, she doesn't have a lot left to prove,” the insider revealed. “She's all in and ready to take their relationship as close to a marriage as possible.”

Do you think Jennifer should slow down for Alex? Or should he do the same for her? Let us know in the comments section.
