Jennifer Lawrence is turning to her newlywed BFF Amy Schumer to help her find a date.

“Jen has been single for a few months now and she’s ready to dip her toe back in the dating pool,” an insider told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “But she’d much rather get a boyfriend than start seeing someone casually.”

The Oscar winner, who was a victim of the shocking celebrity nude hacking scandal, asked her happily married friend to help her out.

“Jen sees how happy Amy is with Chris and would love for Amy to set her up with one of his friends,” the source explained.

“Amy and Jen have really reconnected lately, and they have a lot in common, so Amy is convinced she could find Jen the perfect guy.”

J-Law’s split from her director boyfriend, Darren Aronofsky, was a smart move Schumer told her.

“She wasn’t a huge fan of Darren Aronofsky and thinks Jen needs someone who can have fun. She loves the idea of playing matchmaker and they’re already talking about going on double dates together!”
