Jenelle's Mystery Medical Crisis Diagnosed—How Drugs Caused It

Jenelle Evans has been battling a mystery medical crisis for weeks now.
But when she visited the medical show, The Doctors, the 24-year-old Teen Mom 2 star finally got a diagnosis as to what has been causing all of her problems.
According to two different specialists, Evans's birth control and quitting the use of marijuana caused her symptoms.
"I think that both of us came to the conclusion that it is in fact the birth control pills that you are taking now," Endocrinologist Joseph Pinzone told Evans.
"I think the simplest thing to do really is stop the pill," OB/GYN Peter Weiss recommended. "And when you stop the pill, the levels come back to normal."
According to Dr. Prizone, the birth control pills may have caused Evans to have mood swings, anxiety, bleeding, missed periods, and milk secretion from her breasts.
But Evans had another issue causing her symptoms as well as the birth control.
During her meeting with The Doctors, she confessed that she had been using marijuana for a long time and recently quit in December—her medical problems started a month later.
"I noticed that I smoked marijuana for a long time, probably for years and years and years," she said. "And recently I stopped in about December. And then I noticed my symptoms coming on in the end of January.
Quitting her use of the drug could have added to her scare.
"In this case, there's in fact two sets of substances that are going on: one that's been added, another that's been taken away," Dr. Prizone explained. "So the taking away of the marijuana may certainly have some effects."
One of The Doctors also recommended that Evans get counseling to deal with the anxiety caused by her mystery health crisis.
Evans seemed willing to follow doctors' orders regarding quitting the pill, revealing that she doesn't plan to get pregnant for another year or two.
"Maybe like later on, a year or two from now," she admitted. "I want to buy a house and get settled down... so when I settle down and stuff, yeah, maybe then. But not any time soon."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the reality starlet underwent testing, thinking that she had a tumor in her pituitary gland.
RadarOnline.com first reported that she visited the hospital many times in the hopes of getting diagnosed for symptoms including restless leg syndrome, shortness of breath, loss of coordination, and more.
"She's been stressed," a source said.
