See The First Photo Of Jazz Jennings After Gender Reassignment Surgery
Jazz Jennings is “doing great,” post-surgery, sharing an update after her milestone gender reassignment procedure.
“I’m doing great, thanks for all of the love and support,” the I Am Jazz star posted on Twitter on June 28, 2018 wearing a hospital gown and smiling.
She informed her fans that she was having the surgery on June 26, saying “I’ve been ready for this for so long.”
The TLC reality star was mercilessly attacked by Jill Duggar’s ultra-religious husband Derick Dillard, who denigrated her in a series of critical Tweets.

But she was only excited about the surgery she said was it was “something I’ve really wanted my entire life.”
In a YouTube video she gushed about her joy with the surgery. “It is crazy to me! I am going to have new genitalia. Penis to a vagina. I can’t believe it! I’m going to have a vagina!”
Dillard was fired by TLC after his hateful remarks about Jennings.
“What an oxymoron,” he originally wrote about her. “A ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality. ‘Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid. It’s ordained by God.”
He then wrote: “I pity Jazz,” using the wrong pronoun to describe her. “4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda, including the parents who allow these kinds of decision 2 be made by a child. It’s sad that ppl would use a juvenile this way. Again, nothing against him, just unfortunate what’s on TV these days.”
The network that airs all of the Duggar shows responded, saying he was not filming (his wife was on Counting On) and wouldn’t be in the future.
