In a shocking turn of events for Vanderpump Rules fans, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are engaged!

“She said yes!!! I can’t wait for y’all to see how this happened next season!!! I am marrying the woman of my dreams and I could not be happier!! make sure y’all tune in season 7 to see how this unfolded,” wrote Taylor on Instagram along with two photos of Cartwright wearing her massive diamond ring while on a romantic lunch date with him.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, the unexpected news comes after Taylor, 38, cheated on Cartwright, 29, with Ex On The Beach star Faith Stowers. The brunette stunner found out about the affair and broke up with Taylor, only to get back together with him days later.

It was then revealed that Taylor had sworn to friends that he’d never marry Cartwright—which caused another explosive fight between the two.

Eventually, they hashed out their issues and mended their relationship, but just as things were looking good for the reality duo, Taylor called it quits again!

Cartwright’s friends slammed her for constantly forgiving her troubled man and for sticking by his side after the cheating scandal—but she didn’t listen.

When Taylor’s father died, he claimed Cartwright was there for him like no one else, and he couldn’t imagine life without her. Now, he doesn’t have to!
