After RadarOnline.com reported on Javi Marroquin's new girlfriend's theft arrest and drug abuse issues, the Teen Mom 2 star turned to Twitter to reveal if he's dumping Madison Channing Walls because of her dark past!

"Someone's past isn't who they are today if they've learned and become better," Marroquin, 24, defended of his new love.

Marroquin then proved that the scandals haven't rocked their romance, as he continued to flirt with The Real World: Skeletons star.

When Channing Walls tweeted, "Learn to appreciate everything you have," Marroquin responded, "About me or nah?"

Channing Walls, 26, then replied, "I mean, if the shoe fits."

The MTV stars went public with their romance over the weekend during a trip to Philadelphia.

"She's beautiful," Marroquin, who shares 3-year-old son Lincoln with ex-wife Kailyn Lowry, told RadarOnline.com. "We're getting to know each other right now."

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Channing Walls was arrested in May 2013 for attempted theft.

Court documents obtained from Williamson County Clerk of Court reveal she was busted for "acquiring or otherwise exercising control over property, assorted cosmetics, of the value of $50 or more but less than $500, from the stock and inventory of CVS pharmacy."

She pled guilty and was ordered to pay $220 in fines and court costs.

But that's not all, as the mother of Harper, 1, with ex-boyfriend Tony Raines also had a history of drug use.

"I'm a recovering heroin addict," she said on The Real World. "I am scarred for life from it. I just feel grateful to be alive."

She told the Chicago Sun Times in a 2014 interview that she's been sober for two years.

"I did a lot of things that I'm not proud of," she said. "But it's okay because it made me who I am and it made me a better person overcoming all of that. It was a big self-reflection for me."
