As RadarOnline.com reported, Jackson was spotted getting cozy with Dupri back in December 2017, shortly after she and Al Mana split.
“Janet and Jermaine talk on a daily basis and they really confide in each other with everything,” the source said.
Jackson especially needed Dupri's solid support in the days leading up to her father Joe's June 27 death from cancer at age 89.
“Jermaine was really there for her when Joe died," the insider told RadarOnline.com. "He was one of the only people that she let in when he was ill and he was there for Janet every step of the way.”
