Janet Jackson isn’t taking any chances when it comes to the safety of her 1-year-old son!
Just two days after the “In Control” singer called the cops on ex-husband Wissam Al Mana after her concern he was acting erratically while caring for their son, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the 52-year-old single mother has decided to consult her lawyer.
“Janet is fuming right now. She would never have called the cops to do a welfare check unless she really felt like something wasn’t right,” a Jackson family insider said.
“She is terrified for the safety of her son. She doesn’t trust him to be alone with Eissa anymore.”
The distressed Jackson consulted a lawyer to consider her options, the source said.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Jackson called the police to do a welfare check on her estranged billionaire ex at the Nobu Hotel in Malibu, California on the evening of June 2.
“Deputies responded to the request to check on the welfare of the child. Deputies arrived and the child was fine, so they left. Deputies informed Ms. Jackson,” Deputy Bracks with the L.A. County Sheriff told RadarOnline.com.
Janet’s brother Randy first broke the news to Entertainment Tonight on Sunday about the incident, telling the outlet that his sister had become worried for Eissa’s safety after she was contacted by a “terrified” nanny who had “locked herself in a bathroom” after allegedly witnessing Wissam acting erratically.
As fans know, Janet filed for divorce from Wissam in 2017 after five years of marriage amid accusations from her family that he was verbally abusive.
