Howard Stern Pays Tribute To Late Wack Packer 'Evil Dave Letterman'
Howard Stern returned to his radio show Monday morning and dedicated a segment to late Wack Packer, Evil Dave Letterman, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Evil Dave, whose real name is David Van Dam, passed away on July 3 after losing his battle with cancer.
Stern revealed that when he first heard the news of Evil Dave's death, he "took it hard."
"I didn't even know he suffered from cancer, did you?" Stern's sidekick Robin Quiver's asked.
"No!" The Shock Jock admitted.
Evil Dave earned his nickname for sounding exactly like the famed late night host David Letterman.
"So like many great talents, Evil Dave could be difficult to work with," Stern joked of his pal. "Why is everyone dying on us. I love him. That was good stuff."
"Thanks Dave. I love you. I miss you. Thank you for working on our show," Stern added. "Evil Dave made us laugh a lot over the years and he will be missed."
