Heather Locklear Shocking Arrest Details: 'Extremely' Drunk Star 'Punched' Cop 'In The Chest & Stomach'
June 25 2018, Updated 4:13 p.m. ET
Heather Locklear was arrested last night for allegedly beating a police officer — and RadarOnline.com has all the shocking exclusive details.
Ventura County Sheriff's Department Captain Mike Beckett told RadarOnline.com that cops received a call after 11 pm from the troubled actress' Westlake Village, California, home about a "disturbance."
When police arrived at her home, the 56-year-old appeared "extremely intoxicated," the captain told RadarOnline.com, and engaged in a fight with a boyfriend or friend.
"They tried to separate her from the argument, and when they stepped in, she battered the deputy," the captain continued. "She punched him in the chest and stomach."
"There was no injury to the deputy, but due to her level of intoxication, we believed it would be best if we called an ambulance to check her out."
When EMTs arrived at the scene, they determined it would be "necessary" to bring her to the hospital for an evaluation.
"However, when they attempted to strap her to the gurney, she kicked one of the ambulance personnel," Beckett added.
Sgt. Eric Buschow told RadarOnline.com, "From my understanding, she was extremely uncooperative throughout the whole thing."
Locklear was taken to the hospital and quickly released back into police custody.
She was charged with two counts of battery.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, she remains in the Ventura County Jail on $20,000 bail.
Just hours earlier at 6 pm, another call was placed to cops from Locklear's home, Buschow confirmed to RadarOnline.com. However, no crime was determined to have taken place in the first instance.
According to police, the star has a court date slated for tomorrow, but if she makes bail, the date will be pushed back several weeks.
Just last week, Locklear was involuntarily hospitalized for threatening to shoot herself and attacking her parents.
