Heather Locklear Back On Instagram After Arrest & Rehab Stint

Heather Locklear has returned to Instagram for the first time in months after suffering a breakdown that led to an arrest and rehab stint. can reveal exclusive details on the Melrose Place actress' social media return.

"Sun shining day," Locklear, 56, posted on Saturday night of her dog Mister wearing sunglasses. This is her first Instagram post since April.

A source exclusively revealed to, "She has had access to social media in treatment. She has been liking posts since she checked in." It is unclear if the photo was taken in the treatment facility or at home.

The troubled actress was arrested for battering an officer and an emergency personnel after responding to a disturbance call at her Thousand Oaks home on June 24.

The "extremely intoxicated" actress allegedly punched a deputy in the chest and stomach, while also hitting an EMT worker, Sheriff's officials claim.

Only hours after she was bailed out of jail, she was rushed to the hospital after authorities received a call for an "overdose." She checked into rehab for alcohol and mental health treatment shortly after.

She was initially arrested on February 25 on suspicion of felony domestic violence after an alleged argument with her boyfriend Christopher Heisser. She completed two months in rehab in April following the arrest.

She is scheduled to appear in court on August 30.
