‘Glee’ Alum Kevin McHale Confirms He’s Gay, Posts Sweet PDA Photos With Boyfriend
Glee alum Kevin McHale finally confirmed he’s gay, claimed no one was surprised.
During a Facebook Live talk with Marc Malkin this Thursday, the actor, revealed he is “definitely happy,” with his boyfriend, Austin McKenzie.
“It’s better out than not” he continued, adding that he “wasn’t obviously shouting it from the mountaintops,” but he was also never trying to hide it.
“If somebody was a big fan and following everything I was doing on social media, like the people I interact with on Twitter on a daily basis, I think there was zero surprise. People knew,” he explained after a social media user asked him why he hadn’t confirmed his sexuality before.
“The organizations I’ve been supporting and all that sort of work has been apparent, at least to me. I’ve always supported LGBT organizations and things like that because I felt like I had a vested interest in this where I wanted to help out,” he added.
This Thursday, McHale, 29, posted two adorable photos of him and his beau enjoying a romantic vacation in Charleston, South Carolina. “Tourists,” he captioned the post.
This was the latest of several posts the actor shared of him and his handsome boyfriend.
On April 14, he posted a sweet PDA photo of them together, captioning it: #My Coachella.”
On March 31, he also posted a snap of them cuddling up while volunteering for LA Mission.
