The youngest Alaskan Bush People star Rain Brown has come clean about her sexuality after fans questioned whether or not she’s gay.
The 15-year-old, who is extremely open with her fans on social media, seemingly became fed up and clapped back at social media haters with a shocking confession.
Not long after the teen star confessed to battling depression last month, Rain posted a smiling selfie encouraging fans to love themselves.
“When you smile at someone and they smile back do you think they see the ‘ugly’ face you see? No they see a beautiful gesture of kindness and happiness so why should you ever see something bad?” she wrote in the caption. “So laugh and smile and see yourself as the beautiful unique quirky lovable you that you are.”
One Instagram user commented on the photo asking, “Are you gay?” Brown addressed the question right away. “No I’m straight,” Brown wrote. “And I call my fans rainbows because my name is Rain, but you do you boo,” she added with a touch of sass by including a kiss face emoji.
That doesn't mean the online trolls believed her, though. One fan commented on a photo of Brown giving the peace sign, questioning, “I wonder if @heroofkirrkwell has accepted her sexuality yet?” An annoyed Brown clapped back, “I’m straight…so yeah I have.” Getting real on Instagram seems to be this year's trend for youngest Brown child. In September, Brown shocked fans with a bombshell confession telling them they gave her "a million reasons" to quit the show, RadarOnline.com reported.
“People always ask me why I cut my hair and the answer is I always wanted short hair but was too afraid,” the reality star admitted. “The shorter I go the more like the true Rainy I feel.”
But just because Brown says she’s straight doesn’t mean she’s against those who are bisexual, gay or lesbian. “I’ve had plenty of friends who fly those rainbow colors and if it makes you happy I see nothing wrong with it!" she said.
