Gymnast Gabby Douglas is not backing her teammate Aly Raisman over her sexual abuse claims.

Douglas made her feelings known via Twitter today regarding Raisman going public over claims she was sexually abused by former US gymnastics team Doctor Larry Nassar.

She wrote: “It is our responsibility as women to dress modestly and be classy.

“Dressing in a provocative/sexual way entices the wrong crowd.”

However, not all her teammates feel the same way, fellow Olympic gymnast Simon Biles jumped to her defense.

She countered on Twitter: “Shocks me that I’m seeing this but it doesn’t surprise me … honestly seeing this brings me to tears bc as your teammate I expected more from you & to support her.

“I support you Aly & all the women out there! STAY STRONG.”

Douglas' comments will no doubt anger Raisman after she went public about the allegations.
