Reality bites?!

Former American Idol contestant Antonella Barba, 31, was arrested for allegedly trying to distribute heroin, Norfolk County Sheriff's Office records reveal.

The singer, who appeared on the 2007 Idol season but was eliminated after making the top 16, was taken into custody on Friday, October 12, in Virginia and is facing a felony charge of heroin distribution of 100g or more.

The Norfolk Sheriff's Office contends that Barba's offense actually happened on Thursday, October 11.

Barba is still being held in jail with no bond and has a court date set for this Monday, October 15.

Barba belted out Celine Dion's "Because You Loved Me," on Idol's season 6 but suffered scandal after it was discovered she'd posed for a series of sexy photos—including in a wet tee-shirt in the fountain of the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.

In 2012, she appeared on an episode of Fear Factor.

Her latest TV gig was in a Jimmy Kimmel Live! video in which a bunch of past Idol stars did a musical "Where Are They Now?" segment.

Beautiful Barba sobbed when she was voted off in the Idol season that Jordin Sparks ultimately won.
