“F**k it, we’re breaking up!”

RadarOnline.com was the first to reveal that Jeff Lewis and Gage Edward had split after nine years together and now you can hear his own words about the bitter breakup.

“We were in separate rooms for a significant part of last year,” the Flipping Out star admitted on his Jeff Lewis Live radio show.

Lewis said that 2018 was a terrible year in their relationship (he didn’t mention his horrific falling out with his ex-costar Jenni Pulos) but their daughter Monroe and financial reasons kept them together.

“Something happened around December where I was like, ‘S**t, this is getting real. He was looking at apartments,” Lewis said about Edward.

For many months I was like, ‘F**k it, we’re breaking up,” Lewis admitted, and said he gave up.

“I didn’t fight for the relationship, I didn’t work for the relationship.”

He said around the new year he tried to repair their broken relationship, but it was too late.

“I think there was a lot of anger on his side,” Lewis confessed.

“There’s a lot of negatives with dating Jeff Lewis,” he admitted but said their living situation was not working.

“We were like friends with benefits. We would hook up. I was encouraged, he was still attracted to me, there’s still something here. But there was a real lack of intimacy. I felt very lonely and sad.”

Lewis admitted that Gage moving into a hotel was “sad and disappointing,” but “I don’t feel any different than when he was living here.”
