Mad At Megyn! Axed Kelly's Former 'Today' Staffers Demand Apology After Scandal

Disgraced Megyn Kelly's staffers are stunned that she's abandoned them after getting fired from NBC, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

The Megyn Kelly Today show host, 47, got the axe last week after her offensive on-camera comments defending blackface.

And now, her cancelled show's staffers are outraged that she's hanging them out to dry, and feel she owes them an apology.

"Many people on Megyn's staff haven't heard a word from her since she was fired and they're pissed," a show production source told RadarOnline.com.

"They've been expecting an apology or some sort of acknowledgement from her but that hasn't come."

According to the insider, NBC has tried put some of the displaced crew members on other network shows, but have been unsuccessful since nearly all of the other shows are fully staffed.

"About half of her former staffers are now out of work and are trying to figure out what to do next," the insider revealed. "Meanwhile, Megyn's eating well and is on the verge of getting upwards of $40 million in a golden handshake exit deal — and possibly even another job, which to them, feels like a slap in the face."

"Many are outraged by her greed and the fact that she's done nothing to compensate or even acknowledge those behind the scenes, who did their best to make her look good despite months of trying circumstances."

Even before the blackface scandal that got her ousted, Kelly was under fire for her awkward interviews and terrible ratings which put pressure on the staff.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the blond news anchor is now at war with NBC over money for her exit. Kelly had a three year contract that paid $23 million annually.

"NBC and Megyn are already in negotiations on her exit,” another source told RadarOnline.com. “She wants a full buyout. She feels NBC abandoned her, and she’s owed her contract."
