The late Farrah Fawcett would be devastated by her son Redmond O’Neal’s recent arrest for allegedly robbing a 7-Eleven at knifepoint, a member of her family exclusively told RadarOnline.com.

An aunt of O’Neal’s told RadarOnline.com the 33-year-old and Fawcett had a strong bond before her passing in 2009. The relative added that if the late Charlie’s Angels actress were alive today, she would not be happy to see her son in trouble.

“I think she would be upset,” said the relative. “Any mother would be.”

The aunt added that Fawcett “loved him dearly.”

As RadarOnline.com readers know, O’Neal is accused of entering a 7-Eleven on May 8 and pulling a knife on the store’s clerk at around 3 a.m. He allegedly made out with $60 cash before police arrived and arrested him. The Blast first reported the news.

An LAPD spokesperson confirmed the incident to RadarOnline.com, adding that the clerk was “in fear of his life” before handing over the cash.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the late celeb’s son has been arrested multiple times. He’s previously spent a year in prison after being found guilty of drug charges.

O’Neals aunt recalled visiting him in prison years ago.

“He was fine, he was talkative,” she recalled. “He was very friendly.”
