Former Ted Cruz fan Caitlyn Jenner has not officially endorsed Donald Trump, but she showed increasing support for the Republican Party on Wednesday.
Appearing on Bill Simmons' HBO show Any Given Wednesday, Jenner opened up about her struggles with coming out as transgender and got into a passionate political discussion with the host.
Simmons brought up Jenner's status as a staunch conservative and she said, "I believe in the simple things. I believe in our constitution." The reality star went on to say that although she had been disappointed in Republicans over the "last 10, 20 years," she believes that the party has a "better opportunity to bring this country back to what it was."
When asked if she supported Trump officially, Jenner said "No, I have not outwardly supported anybody… I am here to help the entire Republican Party do a better job when it comes to LGBT issues."
Jenner famously praised the GOP presidential nominee for his statements against the controversial North Carolina transgender bathroom law in April. She even recorded a video of herself using a Trump Tower bathroom after Trump invited her to freely use his facilities.
And, Jenner showed up in Cleveland last month during the Republican National Convention to speak at a breakfast Q&A and joked, "Maybe we should ban Republican representatives at the state level from being in bathrooms!"
