Dolly Parton’s druggie niece Tever Parton died last week after an overdose, sources tell RadarOnline.com exclusively.
Tever, 36, died on March 26, 2017, according to her obituary. A representative of the Knox County Medical Examiner also confirmed that her body had been handled.
The obituary states that her funeral was held on March 30, and a source revealed to RadarOnline.com that Dolly, 71, claimed to be “too sick to travel” for the private affair.

It was the tragic end to the turbulent life for a troubled young woman.
“She lost jobs from her drug use,” the insider told RadarOnline.com of Tever's state right before her death, noting that she had recently tried to turn things around.
“She was trying to get a counseling degree," said the source.
RadarOnline.com previously reported that Tever was known for smoking cracking, snorting cocaine and popping Oxycontin. She even once assaulted her then-boyfriend’s cancer-stricken mother for drug money in 2006.
Dolly reportedly paid $25,000 for Tever’s rehab stay shortly after, but she was charged with public intoxication just three years later. The arrest report has since been “lost” by Sevierville, Tenn., police.
“The Partons have so much influence, they could do what they want and get away with it,” Tever’s former partner, Anthony Rose, previously told RadarOnline.com, adding that Dolly would “definitely do anything” to keep Tever’s behavior out of the public eye.
