Dog The Bounty Hunter's Future Daughter-In-Law Once Arrested For DUI
Duane "Dog" Chapman's daughter Lyssa Chapman is engaged to a fellow wild child herself!
Kristen Evensen, who goes by her middle name Leiana, was once arrested for driving under the influence, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.
On November 23, 2013, cops handcuffed Evensen after she "operated a vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant."
According to Hawaii District Court documents, Evensen "did intentionally, knowingly or recklessly operate or assume actual physical control of a vehicle upon a public way, street, road, or highway while under the influence of alcohol in an amount sufficient to impair her normal mental faculties or ability to care for herself and guard against casualty."
Evensen was also charged with a second count of "recklessly operating a vehicle without due care and/or in a manner as to cause a collision with and or/damage to any vehicle."
Evensen was found with an alcohol level above the legal limit.
She posted $500 bail and pled not guilty.
Due to Hawaii state law, Evensen was "subject to sentencing as a first offender."
The case was dismissed without prejudice on December 22, 2014 because she had no prior offenses.
The Dog The Bounty Hunter star's daughter also had past run-ins with the law. In March 2011, Chapman was arrested for criminal property damage and harassment after she allegedly began banging on residents' doors and swearing while intoxicated. She later made bail and the case was dismissed.
RadarOnline.com first reported the news that Chapman became engaged to Evensen back in December.
Chapman was previously married to her ex-husband Bo Galanti from 2009-2011. The two share 8-year-old daughter, Madelynn Grace.
