Raising Eyebrows: Pregnant Meghan Markle 'Shakes Up The Royal Family Rules'

Prince Harry's wife Meghan Markle is reportedly shaking things up in the British royal family!

According to a new report in the Mail on Sunday, pregnant Markle is raising eyebrows by doing things her way. That includes getting up at 5 a.m. every day, bombarding aides with texts, and donning fashions that are too modern, sources told the British publication.

It's been just six months since former Suits star Markle married Harry and the new report says the new Duchess of Sussex has wasted no time in putting her stamp on the royal family, also known as "The Firm."

"Hurricane Meghan" allegedly is ripping up the rule books on everything from fashion to friendships, diplomacy to the etiquette of who shuts car doors (she does her own).

Queen Elizabeth learned Markle, 37, was not going to be any old royal when she wore a white dress to her wedding, despite being a divorcee.

Harry also ruffled feathers by reportedly declaring, "What Meghan wants, she gets!" before the wedding.

Markle has also caused shock by showing a penchant for non-British designers and often sticking with basic black – the color traditionally worn by Royals only to signify mourning.

In August, Markle was fashion-forward wearing a black tuxedo to a special performance of the musical Hamilton. The outfit also flaunted her bare legs way above the knee.

The Queen was also said to be put out when, during her trip to Runcorn, Cheshire, in June, with Markle, Harry's wife declined to wear a hat.

"Meghan is being told she needs to start dressing less like a Hollywood star and more like a Royal," a source told The Mail on Sunday.

Another behavior reportedly causing angst behind the scenes is Markle's habit of texting her aides at least six or seven times a day with ideas and requests.

Sources also say Markle gets up early, at 5 a.m. every day.

While many palace staff members are impressed by her work ethic and desire to be in control of her royal family role, it has made others uneasy.

According to the report, Markle has been going on "undercover" missions to meet the British people, particularly those associated with good causes.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Markle's personal assistant recently resigned just six months into the job, according to the British Daily Mail.

The woman left amid diva rumors swirling around the Duchess and a time of great change in the palace staff.

Markle and her husband reportedly might be changing their living arrangements before the royal baby is born this spring. According to The Daily Mail Opens a New Window. , the two, who currently reside in Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace, want to trade up for a larger space for their growing family.

The former actress is apparently turning to the help of her famous friends as she tries to fit into the royal family.

"We have known each other a long time, but we really are relying on each other a lot recently," tennis champ Serena Williams has said about her close relationship with Markle.

Under Markle's direction, the titled crowd around the royal family is being joined by sports stars and Hollywood A-listers like George Clooney and his wife Amal.
