Derick Dillard STILL Insists He Wasn't Fired From 'Counting On'

Controversy continues to swirl around disgraced Derick Dillard after he blasted gay TLC star Nate Berkus. The former Counting On personality and husband of Jill Duggar replied in tweets to followers to justify his stance on Berkus' family—and also insisted he WASN'T fired from his reality show.
On Friday night, April 27, Derick tweeted to a fan that, in fact, TLC did NOT want him and Jill to leave Counting On.
When the Twitter follower asked him, "You were fired, correct?," Derick responded, "They won’t tell you that I was ever fired because I wasn’t. We wanted to leave and they didn’t want us to. That’s the truth."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, it's not the first time Derick has claimed he wasn't let go from Counting On in the wake of his online rants against fellow TLC star and transgender girl Jazz Jennings.
In March, Derick made the shocking claim on his Twitter account, when he told a fan he and Jill “were going in a different direction as a family and decided to stop doing filming.”
On Thursday, April 26, Derick shocked the public again—this time, attacking interior designer Berkus, his husband Jeremiah Brent, and their two kids, tweeting, "What a travesty of family. It’s sad how blatant the liberal agenda is, such that it both highlights and celebrates a lifestyle so degrading to children on public television as if it should be normal."
Derick caused a firestorm with his new cruel comments.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, TLC, the network that made the Duggar family famous, cut its ties with Jill's controversial husband Dillard after his social media posts about Jennings caused shock last year. He attacked Jennings, the 17-year-old star of I Am Jazz, tweeting, "I pity Jazz," and other intolerant-sounding posts.
Jennings was diagnosed with gender identity disorder at 4 years old and transitioned from a male to a female.
TLC announced Dillard wouldn't appear on Counting On after the outcry about his Jennings statements.
But now, Derick is claiming the network didn't actually fire him.
Plus, he continued his comments on the Berkus family show Nate and Jeremiah By Design, writing via Twitter: "I’m not bashing the people, I’m just calling out the public agenda at play and how a network chooses what they highlight. Christians should love all as Christ loved all. Take advantage of capitalism: boycott what you don’t believe in, but don’t boycott relationships."
