After recovering from her terrifying drug overdose in a Los Angeles hospital, Demi Lovato is expected to be released from the medical facility today, two sources told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“She completed a detox, and will soon be out,” one insider told RadarOnline.com, adding that the star is itching to go home.

Ex-boyfriend Wilmer Walderrama visited the 25-year-old singer in the hospital last night.

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, the star is voluntarily heading to rehab outside of Los Angeles soon after her hospital release.

Southern California has too much temptation to party for her, a source explained of the out-of-state treatment plan.

Police told RadarOnline.com that cops were called to Lovato’s Hollywood Hills house on Tuesday, July 24 for a drug overdose. Law enforcement sources claimed she was revived with Narcan, which treats opiate overdoses.

The overdose followed a long, wild night of partying at Saddle Ranch in Hollywood, and then an after-party in Lovato’s home.

She celebrated six years of sobriety earlier this year before falling off the wagon.
