Demi Lovato Recovering In Utah 2 Months After OD: 'She's In Good Spirits'
Sept. 24 2018, Updated 3:31 p.m. ET
Two months after she overdosed in her Los Angeles home, troubled Demi Lovato is now recovering in Utah's Salt Lake City area, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
The 26-year-old singer is enrolled in a rehab program, a source confirms, but she appears to have a lot of freedom. An employee at a local Utah coffee shop has spotted Lovato coming in and out over the past few weeks.
"She seemed happy to be out getting fresh air," the worker told RadarOnline.com exclusively. "The other day, she sat alone for like 30 minutes staring out the window. But it looked like she was hopeful and in good spirits."
On another outing, Lovato was accompanied by a sober minder, the employee said.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the star's family wants her to stay away from Hollywood for good after she fell to the temptations of Tinseltown.
She is even selling her Hollywood Hills home for $9.5 million after nearly dying in her bedroom on July 24.
No matter what she decides, Lovato will be laying low and focusing on treatment for the rest of the year, a source assured RadarOnline.com.
"Demi is cooperating and doing what they tell her to do," a source said.
