RadarOnline.com can confirm Demi Lovato has been hospitalized for a possible heroin overdose at her Hollywood Hills home, just one month after she admitted she had relapsed after six years of sobriety.
Los Angeles Police Department Officer Ray Brown told Radar exclusively: "Police received a call at 11:37 am of a possible OD of a 25-year-old female in Hollywood."
Los Angeles Fire Department Spokesperson Margaret Stewart exclusively told Radar: "At approximately 11 AM, We received a call for a requested medical aid to that address...We transported a 25-year-old female patient to local a hospital. It was a medical aid request."
A law enforcement source told Radar that Lovato was treated with Narcan, which is used on narcotics overdoses.
Authorities said officers are still on the scene.
The singer was transported from her house to a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday afternoon, and is still being treated.
Her condition is unknown at this time.
The overdose comes just one month after Lovato admitted in a heartbreaking new song "Sober" that she had relapsed following six years of sobriety.
“I got no excuses, for all of these goodbyes. Call me when it’s over, ’cause I’m dying inside,” Lovato sang.
Lovato — who’s opened up about her cocaine and alcohol abuse, and battle with an eating disorder and depression — then went on to apologize to her parents and loved ones for putting them through her addiction nightmare once again.
As Radar previously reported, Lovato slipped back into the same out-of-control behavior that first drove her to rehab years ago — and she was not accepting help.
“No one can get her attention,” said a friend. “Her team tried to hire a sober coach, and she went nuts!”
Another confidant added: “Everyone knows Demi is off the rails."
“Everyone around her just hopes that she will get help before something tragic happens."
