July 13 2019, Updated 12:47 a.m. ET
Convicted Colorado killer Chris Watts — now inmate number 674796 — has arrived at his new maximum security prison in Wisconsin to serve five life sentences, multiple sources confirm with RadarOnline.com exclusively.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported exclusively, the murderer was smuggled under the cloak of darkness from the Denver Reception and Diagnostic Center, operated by the Colorado Department of Corrections late Monday night and transferred to an “unknown location” due to security concerns.
“Watts was transported from Colorado to Wisconsin due to security purposes,” a source close to the investigation revealed. “He arrived safely to his new facility where he will begin his five consecutive life sentences.”
The source noted that Watts was flown to an airport in Madison, Wisconsin by authorities who transported him to the maximum-security prison.
“We can confirm inmate Christopher Lee Watts is in the custody of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections,” an official at the Wisconsin Dept. of Corrections told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “We cannot disclose where he is being housed, but we can confirm that he is in the care of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.”
The unexpected move came just under ten days after Watts was transferred to the Denver Reception and Diagnostic Center for a physical and mental evaluation.
RadarOnline.com readers caught the first glimpse of the cold-blooded killer being shackled immediately after his confession.
