Gruesome Torture: Chris Watts 'Brutalized' Wife Shannan Before Murder
July 13 2019, Updated 12:15 a.m. ET
Crazed Chris Watts severely beat his pregnant wife Shanann before murdering her and killing their young daughters — sickening facts that have come to light just days before their official autopsy results were set to be released.
The Murder ‘Rap Sesh’ Podcast has spoken to sources close to the case and they have unearthed some gruesome new findings about the Colorado killings.
The podcast noted pregnant Shanann, 34, was carrying a boy and that her husband was actually ‘looking forward’ to having his first son.
However, despite her condition, the expectant mother fought for her life during their violent struggle that ended in her death.
The podcast revealed that Shanann’s body was left in "really, really, bad shape" after being "brutalized by her husband" during their vicious fight inside their home.
Her body had multiple bruises and "defensive wounds" that were indicative of a horrific battle between the couple where she fought "very hard" to stay alive, the podcast claimed sources told them.
There were no blunt blows to her head and it appears that she was strangled in the loft area outside their daughters’ bedroom.
Watts straddled his pregnant wife in a fit of rage before turning on his daughters who were awoken by the commotion.
The father murdered his daughters before transporting their bodies and putting them into two separate tanks completely sealing them in the murky oil.
Tragically it was revealed by sources that both Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3, remains had to be transported in different airplanes back to North Carolina for the funerals and burials as they were deemed to be "combustible" after they had been submerged in ‘"hick and sticky" oil.
Watts pleaded guilty to murdering the trio plus his unborn baby in a crime that shocked America.
The autopsies are due in on Monday that will shed more light on the sickening crime in Denver, Colorado.
Sources close to the couple claim that they had not seen the pair involved in any arguments or heated fights before and that Watts came across as a ‘quiet and thoughtful person’ to them.
The working mom had just returned from a work trip when the pair got into that fateful fight at their house after the two girls had been at home with their father.
Shanann and the girls had been missing since Monday, August 13, and were found on Wednesday, August 16.
Her body was found buried in a shallow grave and the girls had been dumped in oil tanks on the property of Watts' former employer.
Chris Watts avoided the death penalty by pleading guilty to the crimes and his sentencing is on November 19.
