OOPS! Chris Matthews Caught Perving On Donald Trump's Wife Melania

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Chris Matthews isn't the biggest supporter of Donald Trump, but he's clearly a big fan of the candidate's wife, Melania! The veteran MSNBC host was caught making creepy suggestive comments about the former supermodel while covering the Indiana primary this week for MSNBC.

Matthews, 70, was unaware his microphone was still on when he made raunchy comments that apparently were intended to be private.

Watching Melania leave the podium after her husband's speech, Matthews raved, "Did you see her walk? Runway walk. My God, is that good."

His co-anchor Brian Williams realized Matthews's comments had been broadcast live, and tried to cut to commercial break. But Matthews continued.

"I could watch that runway show," he drooled.

Matthews was referring to Melania's previous career as a supermodel.

But a spokesperson for the presumptive presidential candidate's wife spoke out against Matthews' comments, alluding to Melania's jewelry empire and her status as an "accomplished businesswoman."

"Melania Trump is an accomplished businesswoman and entrepreneur in her own right, achieving tremendous success in a variety of industries, including an illustrious modeling career, as well as being a dedicated wife and mother," the spokesperson told Variety.  "It is unfortunate to see the continuous inaccuracies and misrepresentations made by the media of Mrs. Trump as anything less than the independently successful woman that she is."

This isn't the first time Matthews has been accused of making sexist comments: He once sparked backlash when he told Hillary Clinton she "looked more witchy" when she criticized the Bush administration.
