Chris Brown Arrested On Felony Battery Charge After Florida Concert
July 6 2018, Updated 11:26 a.m. ET
Chris Brown was arrested on a warrant in West Palm Beach, Florida on Thursday in relation to a 2017 crime, RadarOnline.com can confirm.
After performing at a concert, the controversial singer, 29, was surrounded by police, and later charged with felony battery. He was in jail by 11 pm, according to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, and quickly released upon payment of a $2,000 cash bond.
Brown’s arrest comes after he punched a photographer last year during a club appearance in Tampa. He is still scheduled to perform in the Florida city tonight.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Brown was recently sued by a woman who accused him of sexual assault and battery. The alleged victim claimed she was raped by the singer's friends, and trapped inside his home involuntarily.
Another woman, Cassandra, recently filed a restraining order against the singer after she accused him of stalking, harassing and hitting her.
He was also notoriously charged with battery after beating then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. He served five years' probation in the incident.
Despite it all, Chris Brown is a free man — for now.
