CBS has just released a statement following Pauley Perrette's shocking tweets about her allegedly horrific experience on the set of NCIS.

Days after the actress tweeted that she's endured "multiple assaults" over the years, and was forced to stay silent by a "very rich, very powerful publicity 'machine'," the network finally spoke out.

"Pauley Perrette has a terrific run on NCIS and we are all going to miss her. Over a year ago Pauley came to us with a workplace concern. We took the matter seriously and worked with her to find a resolution. We are committed to a safe work environment on all our shows," read the statement from CBS Television Studios.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Perrette, 49, shared a series of cryptic tweets earlier this week, blaming a mysterious male figure for assaulting her and making her life hell while filming for the hit show.

The star even claimed she was able to leave after fifteen seasons because "nothing is worth your safety."
