Catt Sadler Could Sue E! After Gender Pay Gap Scandal

Catt Sadler is not done speaking out about her E! pay gap scandal – and she may even sue!
During a scathing interview with ex-colleague Maria Menounos, Sadler, 43, confessed that she “felt a little naive that I was being taken advantage of,” after she realized the massive salary difference between her and former costar Jason Kennedy.
“I had been there for more than a decade … I was an ideal employee, and by the way I think pretty damn good at my job, to then find out that I was, and again this isn’t just a little less for me, it was half, it just was insulting, I guess,” she said on Sirius XM’s Conversations with Maria Menounos this Thursday, February 8.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, the network claimed that the difference in salaries came from a difference in merit and roles. To that, Sadler said: “I know that from a network standpoint, we were positioned a lot — even when you were there as a trifecta — I was a fixture on that show … Then you leave and two people are side by side as kind of like the male and female of this network. You can’t say that we have ‘different roles’ and he has some kind of expertise that I do not.”
She added that she didn’t feel like she had to defend herself after the network’s bizarre response because to all viewers, it was very clear that it was just another “excuse.”
The former TV host – who resigned from her “dream job” after learning of the alleged monetary inequality – told 39-year-old Menounos:
"It is unlawful to discriminate. It is sexual discrimination, so you better believe that people are going to say on record what protects them in a certain, particular instance.”
When Maria Menounos asked if Catt Sadler was considering suing E! after the pay gap drama, the exasperated beauty stayed silent, later adding a simple, “not today.”
