Britney Gives Up! Spears Ditches Drastic Diet During Downtime
Britney Spears is enjoying a well-earned break after her recent UK tour, and RadarOnline.com has learned she’s decided to ditch her punishing gym routine while recharging her batteries.
“This is the first time in years that Britney’s not worked out at least once a day,” an insider told RadarOnline.com. “She figures it’s the least she deserves while she’s in between gigs.”
Spears, 36, recently wrapped up her “Piece of Me” European tour, in which she enacted some pretty hardcore regulations to keep fit on the road, including no alcohol.
Now it seems with some much-needed downtime, she’s ready to let loose…within moderation.
“She’s trying to go easy on the bad food choices, only enjoying the occasional Frappuccino and fried foods that she loves,” the insider added.
The love and support of boyfriend Sam Asghari is helping her stay on track. The 24-year-old model and trainer has become a stabilizing force in Spear’s life, and “accepts her for who she is,” sources have told RadarOnline.com.

Spears returns to the stage at the end of the month, but until then, is confident she can let her guard down and still keep in tip-top shape.
“It’s a huge test of her willpower, because in the old days she didn’t know how to handle moderation – it was either a crazy strict diet or fitness routine, or she slid off the rails,” the insider confessed. “But she swears she’s got it under control.”
