"He was miserable on set and would cry," a production source previously told RadarOnline.com.

His grandma and former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin "was the one that brought him to rehearsals, not Bristol."

According to reports, Tripp got a payday of $50,000 for signing up for the ABC spinoff of Dancing With the Stars. He would've made up to $130,000 in total if he made it to the finale.

In a sneak peek, mom Bristol brought her two daughters with ex-husband Dakota Meyer, Sailor and Atlee, to her son's practice.

Bristol, who appeared on Dancing with the Stars season 15, was in the audience with her mom. She posted throwback photo of her dad, mom and son Tripp in the audience watching her perform.

"You guys!! Full circle right now," she captioned the photo. "2012 to 2018. So proud of my boy."
