Brad Pitt Returns To Woodworking As Angelina Jolie Divorce Drama Explodes

Brad Pitt continues to use woodworking as a outlet amid divorce and custody drama with estranged wife Angelina Jolie, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Pollaro Custom Furniture posted a quote from Pitt, 54, on their Instagram page that read, “Frank embodies the same mad spirit of the craftsman of yore, with their obsessive attention to detail – Brad Pitt.”

The custom furniture company, founded by Frank Pollaro, then revealed they have been working with the father of six for “over a decade.”

“We share a deep appreciation of the past masters and current leaders of design,” the quote’s caption read. “We have a love of materials, old and new. Currently we are in production on several new Pitt-Pollaro pieces that we will unveil shortly after completion. Stay tuned.”

The new project comes after RadarOnline.com broke in April that the Fury star has been working with painter friend Thomas Houseago’s at his studio in Los Angeles to work on sculptures and art pieces.

He teamed up with longtime collaborator Frank Pollaro to make a one-of-a-kind, high-end conference table.

“Brad has worked with Frank for over 10 years, they met when he personally delivered a table to Chateau Miraval Brad and Angelina’s French home,” a source told RadarOnline.com at the time. “Brad has recently been honing his artistic eye at the studio with Thomas, which as only made his skills better.”

The insider added, "The end of his marriage was a terrible tragedy for Brad, but also a huge wake-up call, and sobering up has helped him become sharper and have more focus to channel his energies into his art pieces. This huge table is also a grand gesture, and many around him feel that – consciously or not – it is a bold and solid expression of his love, especially considering how his partnership with Frank all started with the delivery of a large table at the happy home where he married Angelina.”

Pitt is “glad” to have another outlet in addition to acting.

“He wants to be remembered for his artistic skill and have a lasting impact on the world, which is something which is surely inspired by Angelina, with her tireless devotion to humanitarian causes outside of her acting career which will ensure she goes down in history for something meaningful,” the insider said.

As RadarOnline.com has reported, Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Since then, the couple is been involved in a nasty divorce and custody battle over their six children Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 10.

Jolie has accused Pitt of not paying her enough child support over the past two years.

The actor claimed he gave her a loan of $8 million to buy her Los Angeles mansion and an additional $1.3 million for their children.

In June, a judge ordered Jolie to allow Pitt more visitation with their children. The judge said the actor should spend four hours per day with at least one of the younger children in the U.K., where Jolie was filming Maleficent.

The actress approved the substitution of her new lawyer Samantha Dejean and litigator Joe Mannis in court papers filed by attorney Laura Wasser in August.
