Brad Pitt is not taking ex Angelina Jolie's allegations that he paid insufficient child support for their six kids lightly!

In a shocking new court filing obtained by RadarOnline.com, the actor's attorneys claimed he gave his former wife a whopping $9 million since their 2016 split.

"Respondent has previously loaned $8 million to assist her in purchasing her current residence and has paid over $1.3 million in bills for the benefit of Petitioner and the minor children," attorney Lance S. Spiegel wrote in the Los Angeles Superior Court documents in August 8.

In the new filing, Pitt's team claimed Jolie's counsel previously "made no mention of child support issues" — and only wanted to schedule a hearing on the matter "to increase the conflict."

The stars have been separated since 2016, and have been fighting over child custody and other issues ever since.

Last month, a judge expanded Pitt's visitation rights — and warned Jolie not to interfere in his conversations with his children.
